About Me
I studied writing at the University of New Hampshire, the Salt Institute, and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where I earned my MFA. I primarily write lyric essays, but my thesis, Something Like Strings, is a book-length work of narrative nonfiction. Earlier essays and poems have appeared in Black Warrior Review, Voiding the Void, and the online journal Pulse. (Work is forthcoming in The Fourth River.) After three years in the South, I have returned to New England, where I am currently employed in education
